Ce concept de «bâtiment en tant que plate-forme» fonctionne par analogie avec d'autres plates-formes technologiques telles qu'une voiture ou un téléphone intelligent, mais nous reconnaissons qu'il n'existe actuellement aucune terminologie universellement acceptée.
